Florence Louisy is a French designer who graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands. With a strong sensitivity for craftmanship and its origins, she approaches collectible design as a method to achieve unique pieces.  Materials, techniques and the hands joining them are the three elements necessary to make meaningful pieces. This vision was further developed while Florence journeyed to São Paulo to work beside the Campana brothers. Today, working between Paris and Mumbai  where she co-created with Tarini Jindal Handa, æquō, the first Indian gallery dedicated to contemporary design, she curates creative collaborations between global designers and Indian craft for the gallery and continues her path in the field of design where furniture is sculpture and materiality bearer of history.
